The task assignment for work in Lalibela is clear: money raised in The Netherlands enables local partners to make a start.
The tasks are defined concertedly by the Lalibela Foundation and our friends in Ethiopia. There are no expensive offices, large jeeps or highly paid managers. The employees in Ethiopia get a modest wage. By far the largest part of the sponsor money benefits the poorest people in Lalibela directly.

All Dutch employees carry out their activities on a voluntary basis and without expense reimbursements. Foundation Board members and volunteers cover their own expenses of journeys to Ethiopia for consultation with local partners.
